I just wanted a simple mousepad to match my simple desk. Simple, right? uh... not so much...I didn't want a square one, I didn't want one made of fabric that would one day look like 10 year old white carpet after a party during a mudslide and I sure as hell didn't want one with a hologram that would taunt and confuse my sweet little mouse.
I had one that I really liked; very simple, very thin, very round... but it had an adhesive backing on it that would later tear the laminated finish off my Knoll desk that I so adore. This made me very sad.
Alas, after much searching and testing, I have found a soul mate for Sheila, my mighty mouse: a white graphite, ultra thin hard surface mousepad for superior tracking and ideal for optical and laser mice. The space is efficient for 8.5" diameter round -.022 thick.
Now when I lay my pet mouse on a table at Starbucks, she will forever be grateful that she no longer has to choke on the crumbs from someone else's banana walnut bread! Oh... happy days, at last! And, just for the record, these little guys are also available in blue and black.
